We’ve been quietly working on this for a while, and we’re proud to finally announce the launch of the very first Manumit Adventure Prize!
We’re awarding a £1000 cash prize to celebrate self-planned, self-funded adventures across Britain and Ireland.
This isn’t about going the furthest. It isn’t about being the fastest.
And it’s definitely not about having the biggest following. It’s about passion for the outdoors right here in our own back garden.

We want you to submit your stories of adventure. By land, sea, river, or air (or all of the above). Solo or as part of a team.
No adventure is too big or too small. Whether you ran a long-forgotten trail, bike-packed across the county, wild camped on a windswept headland, paddled a quiet river, climbed sea cliffs, skied through a storm, or simply set off somewhere that took you off the beaten path we want to hear about it.

Running, hiking, bike-packing, climbing, camping, fishing, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, surfing, SUP, wild swimming, paragliding, overlanding, skiing, unicycling… nothing is excluded.
You can submit an adventure that’s already happened but entries close at the end of November, so if you don’t have something yet it’s time to start planning!
At the end of November Team Manumit will create a shortlist to be judged by an expert panel. The winner will receive £1000 in cash to spend on kit, travel, a charity donation, or whatever fuels their next adventure.
